TRADITIONAL TURKISH CUISINE
The traditional Turkish Cuisine is formed of cultural, geographical, ecological and economical aspects in time. Turks migrating from Middle Asia to Anatolia had integrated with many different cultures in a long period and consequently the new desserts of the Seljukian and Ottomon Empire palaces formed our new cuisine culture. The Turkish cuisine - consisting of stew dishes cooked with grain, various vegetables and a little meat; soaps; olive oil dishes and bakery, desserts and the meal prepared with natural herbs –thus created original healthy food like molasses, bulghur, yoghurt. Turkish cuisine tastes vary as to geography and is very important for special days and ceremonies. As a result, it became one of 3 greatest cuisines of the world.
